Norman Mayot has been creative director of Sonic Boom Creative Media for the past thirteen years. His in-depth understanding of business strategy, brand communications, technology and user experience has resulted in hundreds of successful interactive programs including those for SIRIUS Satellite Radio, Gildan, TIMEX, Jamieson Vitamins, Ontario Power Authority, Citibank, Honda and Bell Mobility. Norman is very active in all client work, bringing a relentless focus on creative and technical excellence which drives the Sonic Boom team to exceed client expectations.
In addition to providing the guidance and direction required for innovative visual communications, programs and technologies, he advises Sonic Boom clients on social media strategies that will best solicit valuable feedback from their customers, stakeholders and the general public.
Norman is a current board member of the Advertising and Design Club of Canada (ADCC). His work has been recognized with numerous creative awards including Applied Arts, Communication Arts, and the Advertising and Design Club of Canada. He has also been interviewed and quoted in both offline and online publications such as Applied Arts (Canada), Marketing Magazine (Canada), Design Edge (Canada) and The Toronto Star.
His appreciation of design extends to his collection of 1930’s radios, antique cars and vintage advertisements. He is also a dedicated photographer and an avid traveller with an addiction to road trips. Along with his wife Stephanie and kids Bronte and Colton, Norm is proud to call Hamilton home.
